Easton MMA in Castle Rock was founded by Amal Easton and Chris Stolzman.
Amal Easton is the seventh person to be awarded their black-belt by MMA and Jiu Jitsu legend, Renzo Gracie. Amal Founded Easton BJJ in Boulder Colorado over ten years ago, he has competed and won the World Championships and Pan AMs and has coached some of the top UFC fighters including Brenden Schaub, Shane Carwin, Nate Marquardt and Elliot Marshal.
Chris Stolzman is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a National Kickboxing and Muay Thai Champion. Chris began coaching Muay Thai and MMA in the early 1990s in Huntington Beach with Tiki Goshn and Rob McCollough the founders of the HB Ultimate Training Center. In 1999 Chris moved to Atlanta, Georgia and founded KnuckleUp Fitness one of the top Mixed Martial Arts schools in the Southeast and has trained with and coached many of the top MMA competitors to come out of the region including Jason Mayhem Miller and the Assuncao brothers.
Matt Smith is one of the most dedicated and experienced Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coaches in Castle Rock. He currently holds a Brown Belt awarded by professor Amal Easton.
